But if you're a Generator, only when you are working in your life at something that is satisfying, only then do you have a chance in this life to find your Signature. Generators are born to work. Too bad, but it's true. Not me; I coast. You work, you're here to work. Now, I think that's terrific if you did it well because that's really the whole point. The whole point is that you're supposed to be doing work that is satisfying, and you can't do work that's satisfying if you get there by making a decision with your mind. And considering that we have 6 billion Generators on the planet, it's enough to frighten anybody. It's 6 billion frustrated human beings enveloping everybody else.

We don't exactly have a happy planet where people are having a really good life. If you qualify the success of a species by a kind of basic determinant, like let's say half do okay, we already failed. Generators trying to use their energy to do something that is incorrect for them, whether it's making love, going to the corner store, getting up and doing something, whatever it is, if it is not correct, they are not using the energy. And if they're not using the energy correctly, slowly but surely, it eats them alive. It creates physical problems, sleep problems, partnership problems. Hell, if you're looking at life all the time through frustrated eyes, what else do you see?

You're the most powerful force on the planet and you're useless until you understand yourselves. “Know thyself.” It's not for anybody else. And it doesn't mean you are here to know yourself the way the rest of us meet ourselves through Design. To a non-Sacral being, you can introduce Design as a very superficial thing about who that person is. They only need to get certain bits and pieces. But the Generator has to take it all in. It is their responsibility to know themselves. Only in knowing themselves can they be free of the pain of what it is to be frustrated. Only the Generator is given a gift in which they can actually, in real time, begin to come to grips with who they might be, the response mechanism, to be asked questions, to begin a process of self-discovery.

But the thing that disturbs me the most about the Generator and the Generator potential is that nobody's got it easier. If the gods wanted to create a holy Type, they did it. They gave us Generator.
